Yes absolutely. I hated everything about the way Luke was presented, but beyond that the film was just so odd.

Rey and Finn were pushed to the background and made to repeat their arcs from the first film, minor character Poe was pushed forward, and the central protagonists seemed to be Kylo Ren, Luke and Rose. Baffling.
