Excellent piece. After reading it I feel like having another go at this film.

Being something of a Wenders fan I didn’t want to miss the chance to see this on the big screen when it came on, but I have to say it didn’t engage me and nearly put me to sleep. Something about it seemed shabby, run-down and purposeless – but perhaps that’s the point and I missed it.

Anyway, you’ve piqued my interest in revisiting it.
